The Krinner has a 2-gallon water reservoir. Of the tested stands, only the runner-up Cinco is larger, with a 3-gallon capacity. But 2 gallons is plenty large: A tree of roughly 6 to 8 feet in height has a trunk diameter of about 4 to 6 inches, and will usually take in 1 gallons or less per day. In fact, you should even be able to relax a little about watering, as you may not need to each day. A gauge on the tank will tell you what the water level is between fillings.
The other major complaint is a loss of tension in the ratchet and claw mechanism, which can let a tree topple over. Other Amazon users have experienced failure of the locking mechanism. According to the manufacturer, this problem can be eliminated by using a small padlock to secure the lock toggle in place (you could also use a little bolt). If you have these or any other major problems, the Krinner is backed by a five-year warranty.
In 2021 we did a survey of new available stands to consider for testing. Two caught our eye initially, the Easy Treezy, which is now sold out for the season, and the Simple Living Solutions stands. After looking into them, we dismissed each due to an overwhelming number of negative reviews.
The Oasis tree stand can hold a tree up to 10 feet tall. But its water capacity maxes out at 1 gallons, which is enough for only a 7-foot tree to drink from comfortably. The Cinco Classic and Jack Post Stand each max out at 8 feet.
Nobody likes the end of the season cleanup. We will remove your tree using our board bag to keep the needles from getting all over your house. The trees will be composted or used to the Jersey shore to help prevent beach erosion.
Great company to work with! I used their Christmas tree delivery service and it was so convenient. They came right to my door and even helped me set up my tree in its stand. The tree is also beautiful and smells great! Definitely worth every penny.
Amazing tree! Delivered by the most considerate, polite guy ever, shook off tree outside before bringing upstairs, helped us set it up (note: this costs extra) and omg the tree is GORGEOUS!!!! Full and thick and a gorgeous shape!Would 100% use this company again! LOVE OUR TREE!
Everything about this experience was top-notch. Communication the day of delivery was great, the tree is beautiful and healthy, and it was convenient to have the tree placed on the stand by Mike. We live on a busy street in Philadelphia, and Mike was super flexible in figuring out the delivery. Highly recommend!!
I ordered a tree for delivery and was able to schedule a drop off for less than 48 hours ahead. The tree was delivered and set up for me including the stand, and was even given a fresh cut before it was brought inside. I got a 5-6 foot frasier and it's beautiful!! Perfect size and shape, nice and full. Couldn't be happier with the tree or the service!
This service is wonderful and the people that provide it are as pleasant as can be. For the second year in a row, I'll be using them to get my tree as well as have it removed. Both this and last year, I've received a beautiful tree that met or exceeded my size specifications. Highly recommend The Christmas Tree Stand!

Our top pick is the Krinner Tree Genie XXL, which earns high marks from our tester for its attractive look and easy set-up. If you're shopping for a larger tree, we recommend the Jack-Post Steel Christmas Tree Stand. While setting it up might be challenging for one person, its sturdy construction and wide water basin more than make up for it.

To hang the stand, you first strap the receiver to the tree and then slide the stand onto the receiver. The receiver is a genius method for hanging a large stand, and it eliminates the need to hold a nearly 20-pound stand with one arm while you secure the strap with the other. Instead, you just drop it into the receiver and finish securing the stand. 59ce067264
Would I need to paint it "camo" for the hunting or it's good as is? Picked up some Sitka gear for upcoming hunting season and thought about getting a tree stand too
